Yeah that's what I mean. I'm agreeing in that aging is the problem. Gaining random powers from it outside of natural strength/growth would be weird. He should still suck as a swordsman, suck as using his devil fruit, and suck at being an adult lol

I don't think he sucks as a swordsman, he probably was trained by the scabbards, maybe Oden and he even trained with Zoro.
He lacked strength as a child.

However, turning him into an adult shouldn't grant him haki. He will probably unlock it though, both CoC and CoA.

But what a fucking joke, Oda is going the easy road if he really just choose to have Momo aging thanks to Shinobu

Why not? Pretty sure Robin has her DF longer than Luffy and she is more creative with it, those seem to be big conditions for awakening based on Doflamingo and Katakuri. Robin is also way smarter.
