luffy is stronger in 2 months due to haki blooming mid fight - adv CoC against Kaido and future sight against katakuri - both extreme difficulty and drawn out fights.

robin did pretty much nothing even high diff - combat wise in those two months.

the question should be - if for an haki genius like luffy it takes 2 extreme difficult fights to master haki forms , how can robin do it without training or extreme diff fights in 2 months?

if it blooms against black maria in this fight, it is okayish powerup. if she had it ever since training with revolutionaries, its shitty writing.

Actually, It only took him 1.5 years to pick the basics. He trained all 3 forms of Haki simultaneously while most people only train one or two forms of Haki according to Rayleigh. On top of that, He also improved his base states and his devil's fruit mastery.

mastering the basic is the most important thing after that Luffy learns faster during his battle and has now advanced versions of all colors.

He not just learn haki, he learn new skills and improve overall in strenght.
Also he learn and train all 2haki versions, Robin could have just CoA for now.

just mastering the basics takes a long time even for talented people
she could've had a bloom, but she should take at least more than a year to use haki with such proficiency.

so we can say that for a talented person, mastering the basics of 1 type of haki takes at least 6 months.
but for normal people it should take way more than that.

Luffy not just gain normal haki, he get adv haki forms.
He learn haki during his training.
And as Roger said, he learn everything (CoA/CoO/CoC/G2+G3 Controll/G4) in just 1.5year
Because that I don´t would mind if Robin learn CoA during two months, it just one haki form and we know even between haki their are lvls. In case 2months are a huge timeline in one piece world.

ALTHOUGH....I wish it was Kidd and the other SNs fighting Kaido and Straw Hats vs Big Mom, Kid has way too personal reasons to fight and kill Kaido and the Straw Hats and Big Mom have way too much personal history between each other too! But if Kid gets to solo and Yonko and win as he outrightly deserves, then all the better regardless of which Yonko it is!

I also really want to see Kidd return for future arcs like Law has and be promiment in the Shanks arc at least! I could see some potentially brilliant critical conflict/dissonance over Kidd wanting to kill Shanks too!

Kid will be in Shanks arc for sure. He will be his next target of course + We know Shanks destroy Bartolemeo. Luffy and Kidd will team up against Shanks like Luffy and Law team up against Doflamingo for sure

It works differently for different people actually, Aisa is one of the greatest COO users in the series, and she awakened Haki when she was but a child. Coby didn't fight anyone to awaken COO. Luffy awakened COC out of nowhere against a bull. It may have taken them some more time to control their powers, but there is no guarantee that Luffy masters an ability quicker than others just because he is overall more talented.

starting from scratch with zero haki experience:
-coby had to train under garp for sometime to master/control the ability
-luffy had to train 6 months to control his CoC

in aisa's case she was born with the ability so it's like breathing for her, also she can't turn it off.
if aisa wanted to control her CoO so she can activate it or deactivate it consciously she would also need 6 months.


momo also has an always activated CoO he can't turn it off

usopp had a CoO bloom but he's still can't use it consciously.
