Next arc we will see Mihawk and Shanks. Zoro won't be able to fight Mihawk at his best.
Mihawk beats Zoro and Mihawk gets beaten by Shiryu shortly after ,making Zoro salty he lost his last chance for a serious all out battle against his master.
That way there is a build up between Shiryu and Zoro and they don't just fight because Shiryu is BB's subordinate.

I know that there's a strong possibility of Luffy getting the disease that Roger succumbed to. I hope it doesn't happen. Does he really have to parallel Roger that much.
In addition, if Luffy is sick with the same disease, I don't like idea of Law performing the immortal surgery on him. It would be a big slap to Chopper's character. His whole dream is to cure any disease. If Oda does decide to give Luffy a terminal illness, then at least let Chopper heal him.

Indeed. That is basically the resolution I thought about. Luffy would likely refuse to accept an eventual offer from Law to sacrifice his own life to grant him life span, unless that also granted additional powers he needed in order to defeat Im who might have undergone that surgery in the past. If that won't constitute the case it shall probably be Chopper to heal the strenuous aftermaths of all his expensive gears.
