Which Katakuri had all three of.
It would set King significantly above Queen, but not from the other Y1C. Marco at least showed signs of advCoA (barrier) and his fruit is just overpowered in the high tier spectrum.

yeah obviously. king is by far the most badly portrayed Y1C. and still you have some dumbasses questioning whether this fight with zoro is gonna go to extreme diff (if oda stays consistent on the powerscaling).
Honestly it was just lack of injuries and bad panelling and that made a lot of these fights underwhelming. The Robin Fight is the best one since it implemented some of those elements. Black Maria also, unlike the other tobi roppo, had a counter for a lot of what was thrown at her. Robins fight is the only fight so far somewhat remincent of what oda did with pre timeskip Strawhat fights.
In the end I think Zoro, Sanji and Robin will have the best non luffy fights in the arc.
I'm half hoping that Jinbe/Brook/Usopp help Inu fight Jack and Franky/Chopper fight off the last 3/4 Numbers (let's assume some of them are stronger/more competent). That way we just get more of them fighting.
Doflamingo would've still beaten Sanji had the latter known his ability. Maybe not neg diff like it was but a mid diff or something instead. Sanji was YC level at that time. Doflamingo is. I put him around YC2 now even though I used to underestimate him earlier.
You realize Doflamingo didn't use awakening until the end of the arc? Awakening is the biggest powerup in the series so far. Luffy got advanced CoC, and still no awakening.
Base Doffy was putting in feats that it takes King + Queen to do.
Exactly show don't tell! Then I remind myself that One Piece is published in Shonen Jump and I am older than the demographic.
Anyways, I think Wano would have been better if we had less characters and more focus on the SHs. They have been separated for so long. But Oda wanted to add way too many characters to Wano, and I believe that is one of the reasons the arc is dragging. The main reason is most likely covid and all of the breaks.
