What's this powerlevel stuff got to do with the cringe? Zoro said since the beginning that Luffy will be PK, so why Zoro hakai not cringe since he protect Luffy because of that lol
Thriller Bark Zoro protect Luffy since Luffy must be PK = cringe to you?
Zoro prostrate to Mihawk since Luffy must be PK = cringe?
"Hey Kaidou thats my Captain! Asura Farce of The Dead" = cringe to you?
you dont know what you really want yourself its so confusing
- You're not making any sense. Zoro didnt throw away his dream just because he trust Luffy to be strong enough to surpass Kaidou. Zoro still want to be WSS.
- So its alright for him to throw his dream for someone stronger? If Luffy is actually stronger than him, you'll be alright with Zoro "throwing" his dream which is not true in the first place?
I think Zoro is in YC1 level so healed fresh Zoro is a good serious match for King. While Sanji in YC2 level.
...but apparently the do or die stuff is all about powerlevel. Whether Oda betray us now or whether OP is trash or the best ever is apparently all about whether Oda fulfill our expectation about powerlevel or not.
After dressrosa, everything after it became luffy's show, the sad part is that luffy is not enjoyable to watch, oda tries to make him unique but he failed, luffy is a mix of three characters (garp, shanks, ace) there's nothing special about him.
Sanji remained consistent with his original design, crap-character.
Robin was soulless from the beginning, she's barely relevant.
Brook is useless most of the time, he was mvp of WCI tho.
Nami is just a plot device, she helped the children in punk hazard that's her last cool ploteline.
Ussop is not funny anymore, new world did him dirty, his pupeteering gags are lame.
Franky looks like shit, the robot stuff pales in badassitude to the super element of pre TS.
Chopper is fine, he was great in thriller bark.
Zoro lookes like oda planed some serious development for him in wano but he got cold feet and backed off just to focus more on luffy is a god ploteline.

On the bolded part, Zoro is giving the fight where its due. Kaidou is narratively reserved for Luffy, just like Mihawk is reserved for Zoro. Gonna be weird if Luffy fight Mihawk at the final battle of swordsman right?Luffy cant be the swordman that can face King as a swordsman, he can't be the doctor that heals Ice Oni, he can't face Black Maria who is a woman etc, but he can beat the final boss while the others can't.
To fight Kaidou is the fight for PK, so it's Luffy's job to surpass Kaidou like Zoro's own statement rooting for Luffy.
Zoro is far from being cold feet, he protected Luffy and scarring Kaidou. Instead, after experiencing the fight against WSC and then seeing Luffy's CoC Coating, Zoro believes in Luffy's strength as the only one capable to do the job. Its two different things, between getting cold feet and believing in his captain's strength. Thats my view on it, imo it fits Zoro's ambition since the timeskip solidly.

Btw i agree about too much Luffy show after timeskip. Especially against fodders in Udon, against fodders in that confusing forest and Luffy doppelganger, in Punk Hazard against Caesar, duh Luffy should give it to Sanji or Zoro and anyone between those guys can oneshot Caesar Clown. Luffy should just delve into Momonosuke's problems without fighting at all, just him deepening the interaction with Wano's heir. In Dressrosa, Luffy didnt even need to participate in the colosseum, give it Zoro or Sanji as well. Luffy can deepen the bond with Sabo, and while Zo-San beat Doflamingo by deadly combination attack moves, Luffy can just deepen the ideological clash against Fujitora's gravity power. Luffy didnt even need to fight anyone in Wano aside from Kaidou, to solely focus on him and only him. Unnecessary panel time to show Luffy's fight again and again makes it unbearable, i agree.
