i think big mom and kaido just stopped dodging all attacks not coated in CoC or CoA because they virtually take a total of zero damage from them. not saying that's the case exactly, but that's one way to explain it IMO.

The point is that, in fights with other top tiers, that extra durability is going to be useless if they’re incapable of avoiding attacks.

It’s the same thing with Zoro vs YC1s. Zoro’s AP is insane, but it doesn’t matter that much if he can’t land it.

Hitetsu literally says that forging Enma into a Black Blade will raise it's rank. Ryuma forged Shisui into a Black Blade, meaning he raised its rank from what it previously was. Damn that Oda with his headcannon of his own manga.

This goes for all swords Wado has same potential for example to rank up and turn into a black balde not just Enma Mihawk said every sword could turn into kokuto

Back on Dressrosa, Zoro opted not to send flying slashes towards Pica because he said he was too far away, and they wouldn't be able to knock him out. On the rooftop, with Enma in hand, he sent a a flying slash clean across the massive skull, which cut off the massive horn of Onigashima, with no signs of the attack slowing down. He did that with Enma alone.

Yes that is just his training paying off not the sword boosting him same way Luffy who was first one shot just few weeks later was putting up much better fight against Kaido. Zoro already showed excellent attacking speed over great distance when he attacked Queen with his weakest blade.
