You're on season 5, right? I actually dropped the anime and just read the manga. It's much better and much faster. I heard they are adapting imo the best arc of MHA in the anime right now. But I also heard it's started bad. I honestly advise starting the manga, as I said this arc that should be animated right now is the best arc of MHA. I fear the anime will tone down a lot of things.

Itachi is the undisputed GOAT of Naruto.

Sasuke easily by virtue of a couple others on here being nothing short of walmart brand versions of him to an extent. Aki’s pretty alright tho, Bakugo I couldn’t really stand for more than two seconds, dude was too much of a balloon head for my liking. No doubt he was probably developed later on but I just can’t get behind his personality. Todoroki was far more tolerable and just straight up better imo in the little time I spent with My Average Academia.
Yuno blah, Megumi meh.

Sasuke was cool but lost his touch after Itachi's death. Never liked wannabe Sasuke, Bakugo is ok too.

sasuke post itachi's death was soo bad that itachi literally had to come back from the dead to talk some sense into him XD.

bakugo and yuno are meh. i like bakugo's character but its hard when horikoshi regularly cucks him. i love how yuno and asta's rivalry is not filled with toxicity like other shonen rivalries but again yuno's character other than the rivalry with asta is meh.

aki is my pick for the best written character. he had similar circumstances to sasuke when he started out but unlike sasuke he found a family that he wanted to protect and could grow over his drive for revenge.

megumi is my favourite out of the 5 and he'll probably be the best written character by the time jjk ends imo. his rivalry with yuuji isnt toxic and he gets as much shine if not more than yuji. and i think the culling game arc is gonna be megumi's hidden inventory and would lead to more character development. i even made a thread about it: https://worstgen.alwaysdata.net/forum/threads/megumi-character-development-moving-forward.16278/
