He literally said that after King's sword transformed into sawtooth crap. And then he mentioned that he'd bite King- which is unrelated to punch. Punching someone doesn't make them a "killing machine of sorts".

Hell, even Zoro punches and kicks all the time- that doesn't mean he's not a swordsman. It's about how much versatility and stuff one has in their arsenal outside of swordsmanship- every single swordsman in existence can punch and kick. Meanwhile King has a weird-ass saw-sword, conjure fire power, and a whole Devil Fruit. He can be alot of things outside of swordsman.

You know you're insecure if you need to use that to say Shanks is not a swordsman.

He also has the biggest zoan, and his dino is defensive type zoan. Queen low key has the best defense among all commanders. Yet he still needs to use coa early in fight vs Sanji.
