do they get told they were poisoned but it failed on them?

And Tris cant have been poisoned if she had defense like a GF/Exe/PB/Arso/WW would.

in which scenario town lost already

or

light + lanji = vamp
rhea = pest

in which we also lost already

or the only scenario where we have hope is

light = vamp
