The Ame no Habakiri (天羽々斬あめのはばきり Ame no Habakiri?, literally meaning "Snake-Slayer of Heaven") is one of the most famous Totsuka no Tsurugi, appearing in Japanese mythology as a blade used by the Shinto god Susanoo to slay the legendary monster serpent Yamata no Orochi. "Haba" (羽々?) is an archaic term for "big snake" (Orochi).
Oda does not follow every myth at 100% dude, he just takes names, references and some folklore.

Momo won't kill anyone.

BOOOOOOOOIIIII TELL ME THAT AIN’T THE NEXT STRAW HAT SWINGIN’ THAT KANABO LIKE IT AIN’T NO MOTHERFUCKIN’ THANG!! Y’ALL SEE A RABBIT ANYWHERE?! ME THE FUCK NEITHER :steef::steef::steef:

Aight, I’m not so big a Zoro homer that I can’t admit this - Sanji being linked to King’s race is pretty rad, BUT! If King removes his mask and ALSO has curly eyebrows or otherwise resembles the chef, I’m going to fly to Tokyo, find Oda’s high-rise apartment, and staple a printout of Duval to his forehead and make him write I HAVE TO STOP RECYCLING MY OWN FARTS a thousand times :sanjimeh:

I *AM* a big enough Zoro homer, though, to absolutely LOSE MY SHIT over the long-awaited Shimotsuki reveal!! It’s wild that a guy we met in chapter 4 is only now getting the backstory both he and the rest of us deserve, but better late than never :zosmug:

Speaking of things we saw coming from a mile away, it’s gonna be hilarious to see how people around here react when we get adult Momo’s human form on panel…he’s gonna look EXACTLY like Oden, and it’ll be this forum’s 9/11 :lulz:

Who the fuck confirmed Shanks as an swordsman?

The hell dude, this shit is going too far.
You mean the same Shanks who famously dueled with the reigning WSS multiple times over the years?? I think Oda confirmed this by, you know, intentionally drawing/writing it that way on several occasions, maybe you need to take it up with him :kayneshrug:

People be complaining that sanji and zoro are carried by his ancestor dna

But completely ignoring the fact that the case of Momo is way worse than the two

This weak ass boy literally is carried hard by his father's dna, and is carried hard by powerful DF

How much effort has momo put to train himself? 1 month? 2 month? And look, he'd be at least as powerful as veterans since he now has dragon durability, dragon endurance, dragon brute strength, etc

This weak ass boy is the ephitome of asspull, Momo is one of the worst character in the series

This does not means he is another sword-dependant.

Until further confirmation, this is shit and headcanons.

To be a genious/prodigy in some areas doesn't make you an specialist in one.

Versatility? Master of Haki? No?

Just a bit like Luffy, the dude is a genious in battle.

Nah, it’s confirmed and has been reinforced several times over in the canon. Some things are objectively non-negotiable; Shanks has a named blade and is constantly mentioned in the same breath as Mihawk, he’s a swordsman whether you agree or not.

Katakuri has a named weapon and "blablablabla..." Surprise, he is not an swordsman!!!

Shanks is a fucking Yonko, it's fucking normal that he has a named weapon... Hell, even he comes from a sea with strong underworld connections (maybe the sword came from here, maybe not).

As I said, HEADCANONS.
