General & Others PK =/= Strongest in 1v1

Yeah WB was definitely > Roger when he became Pirate King, but the mere existence of WB in the first place proves that the PK doesn't have to be above everyone. To become PK you need the stars to align. Whitebeard was as strong if not stronger and yet would never even have known about Raftel. Roger would never have become PK without Oden or VOAT. Neither are strength-related.
However, we've been told that Luffy wants to surpass the Yonkou and Admirals so he'll definitely end up above all of them. This is a shounen so that much is obvious. Maybe he'll even surpass Blackbeard and become the strongest Pirate. This one will probably be less obvious seeing as how Luffy always gets lucky in his fights but they'll probably end up even. Rogerbeard will be surpassed through Luffy's actions.
And then beyond that you have unknown factors like Im and the Gorosei, specifically Im who could turn out to be some kind of Kaguya-type figure so I don't really expect EoS Luffy to be the strongest in the verse honestly. But he'll definitely be the strongest among his peers.
I mean the only person in Luffy's clique who we know has that kind of potential is Sabo and even he was slightly behind Ace as kids so he'll probably come close but not quite equal. Law will be a cheerleader, Kidd could maybe contest depending on how he's treated later in this arc, Zoro would have to stop fighting chumps and passing out, Smoker hasn't been relevant since pre-TS and lmao Captain Coby has no chance.

What kind of freaking stupidity is this, seriously? Just because Mihawk > Shanks, it doesn't mean he can low diff him. That fight would probably go on for like 10 days like Akainu/Aokiji, to an extreme diff.

100% guaranteed. BB will dominate 99% of the fight then Luffy will use his Nakama Power to do a a gatling G5 attack that will push BB into the sea. Boom he's PK now.
Anyway, what a sad chapter for PK wankers.
Roger got 3 Poneglyphs for free with zero competition, the only one he needed to fight for he stole it, WB didn't give a fuck about him and even gifted him Oden. He was crowned when he already had a foot into the grave.
Roger's used to be WB hype. Now I'd say it's the opposite. Thank God for WB's WSM title, at least we know Roger wasn't a pushover if he could somehow match him.
Pirate King is a title that indicated your pirating accomplishments, not your prowess in combat.
WB in a 1v1 is equal to Roger.
WB with his gura fruit is probably more valuable than Roger all things considered.
unless we get a df or other reveal of Rogers power WB had more potential in combat. outside of 1v1 that is.
you can not compare PK title to titles like WSM or WSS.
they are creating a direct relation to anyone else in this category. a relation of superiority.
PK on the other hand is a hollow title.

the crew makes the PK, not the captain.
