Yamato is holding Kaido for Luffy to arrive, so the final fight of Luffy vs Kaido can start, maybe with an epic entrance.

But this made me understand why Oda does nerf kid now. Oda is simply taking out kid for a few moments of the fight against big mum. Through killer, Kid is forced to take this break, while law is holding big mum. Like Yamato is holding Kaido.

just in a few chapter, we will get an epic double page where Luffy and kid take over the final fights against the Yonko.

we know that his lies become realities so it is very possible man.
i dont understand why people think that only Zoro will get CoC haki if you ask me there is a high possibilty that all of the strawhats get it. they are the chosen ones . Luffy is the king of kings.

The Oden flashback is filled with narration from the journal and it's done with impressions rather than detailed spoilers, the only explicit spoilers are most likely to be related to the Kozuki and Wano.

The fact Kaido blocks all of Yamato's attacks instead of taking them (as he took a Kong Organ casually) tells you, that Yamato hits hard. Always arguing with the Scabbards won't do any good, since Kaido's scales are vulnerable to Ryuo cuts but those Ryuo cuts are still shallow. And we won't assume that a slice from Kinemon > pre Udon Luffy's boundman attacks.

There is no way around it, Yamato is a top tier, being able to coat her attacks in CoC, using high level barrier CoA, having Kaido's moves and a strong mythical Zoan.

Maybe she even grew during that fight (hence "finally clashing equally with her father").

Ulti (ancient Zoan that endured Maser Cannon) recovering from a non CoC club of Base Yamato is reasonable.

Kaido sending Tobi Roppo after her is as dumb as sending Jack after post WCI Luffy + Law.

Momo and Yamato already taking orders from Luffy like they were already his nakama why people are in denial and try to say they will not join?
and don't come up with Wano needs a protector. it is form now on only war every where the WG will go to Wano more if those two are there. and Momo has his dragon form can protect Wano better if he joins Luffy if necessary he can fly the strawhats back to Wano any time.
