kamisato ayaka.
im outside rn ill post more in a while.
Thank you. You are second best girl (Noelle, the first best girl, better be in this game).
We could have everyone say, I'm not cult?

Here I'll start: I'm not cult
This wouldn't work, because Lie Detectors only investigate posts indepedent of context. So, one "I am not Cult" will work, but not every single one. So we'd only be checking one person. Which might then be converted after this cycle.

Let's do that then? And dyna checks the most sus player in his eyes?
Probably, though the issue with the Cult is that if the lie detector tests whether it was true on the Day, then the result may ultimately be a false positive of sorts. As in, Player A says they're Town Day 6, but they're recruited at the end of Day 6. DynaMight, who used his role on Day 6, receives that the statement is true, because it was true when it was made. I think we need to be more explicit, and look around for the first or second conversion.

And honestly, I'd rather not get too hung up on a lie detector result that isn't verified and could be coming from a Culted player or a player who gets Culted today. We have time to set it up, but it shouldn't be the lynchpin of our Day Phase, in my opinion.

I still can't shake the feeling that we're missing something, though. A Cult, that can recruit after the main recruiter has been killed, can also recruit during the Day, bypassing the ability to stop it via blocks? It does not make sense to me. That seems too powerful. I know I tend to be overly conservative when it comes to theory crafting these role madness setups, but I'm not convinced it's as straightforward as it appears to be here.

In many games i played or hosted the cult leader can appoint a new scrub to convert , such as the case in throne of lies

@Ratchet im just asking based purely on flavour but can you think of indie flavoured characters other than andrius with a peculiar wincon like nat's (lynch aether, diluc etc) ?
Several, yeah. Childe, a Fatui Harbinger, could have a win con requiring him to kill several characters like Andrius, for instance, because while he belongs to the enemy faction, he works mostly away from them. Then there are the Hillichurls, an indiginous race that are mostly the fodder of the series. To name but two.
I'm saying that I'm not convinced that the Cult is genuinely recruiting every single Day Phase. They might be, but that would strike me as absurdly powerful in that context, because Day recruit + recruit after leader death + strong flavour claims makes them very difficult to stop. Nigh on impossible, even.
