Zoro did not 1vs1 Hybrid Kaido for a prolonged amount of time nor did he tank his attacks with no damage taken.
Yamato does not have a sword, Bludgeoning damage is mostly internal therefore you cannot judge the amount fo damage Kaido at surface value.
Kaido was also way more serious against her than against Zoro so idk what you’re talkibg about with your “vastly superior stuff”
Again, don’t overcompensate mate. Zoro is relative to Yamato atm and could be stronger, and will for sure be EOW anyways.
Zoro didn't fight Kaido for a prolong time but that was because of the condition he was in. As others have stated, he never got the opportunity to face Kaido in a lengthy 1v1 battle. Everything Zoro showed us on the rooftop proves he can fight against a Yonko in a 1v1 battle for at least as long as Yamato has.
Zoro showed high speed, incredible physical strength, impressive CQC skills, powerful and large haki, strong defensive power and some of the greatest AP.
No, Zoro isn't tanking any attack from Kaido without taking some type of damage. But the attacks still has to hit Zoro for him to take damage. If he can block hakai, even if it's only temporarily, he can block weaker attacks for a longer period of time if not completely block them. Or have even clashes with them. Even if the attacks hit Zoro he has incredible endurance so he will be able to continue fighting afterwards.
It's true Yamato doesn't use a sword but the type of weapon she uses is irrelevant. Using a sword against Kaido doesn't guarantee the user will be able to severely injure Kaido or cause any permanent damage to him. The Scabbards prove that since they weren't able to scar Kaido. Even Zoro's first attack didn't cut Kaido. Kaido has a nearly invincible body and powerful healing and recovery powers. It's incredibly difficult to hurt Kaido and even harder to severely injure Kaido or cause any permanent damage to him.
Zoro scarring Kaido is an incredible feat. Kaido told us the attack would leave a scar. Even with attacks that cause internal damage Oda still tells us if the attack cause significant amount of damage or more. Oda told us Zoro received 20 to 30 broken bones from hakai. We couldn't see that just by looking at him. He did the same thing when Doffy was hit by the gamma knife. You can't use the "attacks the cause internal damage are hard to judge" as an excuse.
Kaido was just as serious against the supernovas as he was against Yamato. He tried to kill all of them with a combination attack with Big Mom. That says enough. Kaido tried take out Zoro while he was on the ground.
Yamato is strong and impressive but she still weaker than Zoro.
