That would have been so epic if Zoro finished Lucci but it would have felt also meh for Luffy and because Lucci wasn't in an optimal state.

Well he will likely contribute in his defeat as well once done with King. In a certain sense he already did partially on the rooftop. But overall he probably would care more about killing him than this particular regardless.
