Next thing we know Hybrid Kaido.
Then tags with Meme to use their strongest combined attack, stopped by Zoro

So King may as well be real captain of Zoro as he's doing better against Zoro than both Meme and Kaido did

Zoro fights Luffy and here are the things we know



Zoro can survive Hakai, an attack at least a 100 times stronger than Luffy's strongest attack



He has physical strength to block such attack without Ashura


He has lethality enough to permanently scar a character at least 100 times more durable than Luffy



He can survive and not get knocked out of Thunder Bagua Conqueror's Haki attack after taking Hakai, Indra and all the other shit like Apoo, Queen etc



I'll go by stats, Luffy simply can't win



Zoro is more durable and has more endurance than Luffy and can kill Luffy in one attack. If its a battle of attrition, Zoro will win as Zoro can take more hits and needs less hits. Ya'll can wank the sky splitting garbage all you want

Last time we saw Mihawk and Shanks in a neutral situation, Mihawk is insulting Shanks in front of his entire crew and neither Shanks nor his crew stepped up.

Also in fairness I think Shanks >>> Kaido anyways. Just cuz they backed off from Shanks, which they knew fighting Shanks also means fighting Mihawk, doesn't mean they'll back off from Kaido too.

Shanks was the one who made people faint on the ship and their clash was retconned to be an AdCoC clash only by Wano. We had no idea haki was involved at the time because the concept didn't exist behind making people faint at that point in the story.

the clash between Shanks and WB split the sky as well. it was not stated that it was CoC haki but it is. splitting the sky was a thing since Shank met WB.

Kaido hasn't shown hybrid from Scabbards, form Luffy, Luffy pushed Kaido back to dragon form.
After Zoro made Kaido shit his pants and turned off his tatsumaki casually, Kaido realize Zoro is too strong to fuck around, even with trash like Luffy and others. So he went Hybrid and still needed himself and Meme to nerf Zoro so scar is all he gets and not death.

The admirals exist to be fodderized by Sabo, Zoro, Sanji and Yamato. Luffy wil be going straight to Imu

Maybe or maybe not but Akainu will be far bigger threat to Luffy.....he is not just powerful but also cunning....he ain't like Kaido....adding to that he has elemental devil fruit that happened to have strongest attack power, you can add haki on top of that.....Luffy will be having a hard time.....Luffy faces Akainu on equal grounds but fight won't be easy......

Thats my point. You didn't know this until Wano. Splitting the sky being tied to AdCoC attacks is a retconned feat. CoA, AdCoC, etc etc etc didn't exist by that point.

This is what I'm trying to get at, that Oda can give the Admirals anything he wants to make them as strong as they need to be.
