As soon as Jack paired off to fight a non strawhat his fight was condemned to be minimized/ off screened.
I don't know what people expect, overall Jack will have had a lot of panels cumulatively throughout the raid, most of the fights were minimized/off screened in Marineford to some extent except for the decisive moments.
