He is "begging" to atleast get killed with a sword, King is ignoring his attacks straight away and apparently dominating the fight. Isn't that struggling?
Some people were saying the same about Sanji attacking Queen, so it works for Sanji but not for Zoro?
Sanji blocked Queen's attack going at Zoro, obviously Zoro was busy with King, but Sanji wasn't talking with anyone, but now paying attention in the battle, something that he wasn't doing when King tried to attack him initially
Nah, King tries to hit Sanji's back, Zoro was right in front of where King came from, and Sanji was also distracted while bickering with Zoro and feeling weird in his body.
You can see that Sanji saw the attack coming (look at the CoO usage above his head), Zoro just blocked it faster in the case Sanji wasn't fast enough given the initial circumstances
Extreme diff fight, kid will win at the end. Zoro will ultimately beat King, Sanji will beat Queen. Kid will beat big mum and Luffy will beat Kaido. At the end of the arc, there is an announcement of the shift in power.

Ok, so maybe Zoro was just kidding around when he this happened:
King takes Zoro out of the castle, who almost fell off the island.
Zoro : "At least let me diewith a sword or I won't forgive you."
King : "I won't forgive you either."
In the movie Ultra Tiger Hunt was portrayal above 1080.
I would say it is easily a mid tier lvl attack, perhaps come close to high tier range, pretty impressive for King to endure it.
Im sure King pushing Zoro at least to high tier, Oda portrayal here is clear for me.
