Future Events Kidd is not soloing Big Mom

Luffy fans being insecure as always. Kaido has fought 15 people. Luffy, even if he wins would not have done it in a solo effort. Get over it. Kidd and Law beating a healthy Big Mom is just as impressive if not more impressive for Kidd than Luffy beating a weakened Kaido who is carrying an island. (Which has been confirmed requires focus)
think its fairly clear just like luffy seemed like the main threat to kaido on the roof

so I will not be surprised if this fight ends in a solo just like luffy vs kaido

big mom has not been on the receiving end from attacks from scabbards

so it can be equally impressive if not more if he pulls it off.

The more reason to show Kid and Law need PUs to do what Luffy is doing. They haven’t done any decent damage to her. Let’s not act like they suddenly can defeat her as they are. Power ups is the only option. Which makes it understandable. I know you are trying so hard to downplay Luffy rather than enjoy what’s going on. It’s just simple current Luffy is at top tier level. The only one at that in the alliance. It’s only gonna get good when both Law and Kid PU to reach somewhere close to where he is at.
Let’s not use these trash percentages as if they mean anything. Kaido is a mythical zoan. His durability and endurance is something that isn’t measurable. The only thing we understand from him not being able to control the flame clouds is that he isn’t in his best shape that’s all where he is at is something we can never guess.
Where does it say that a few rocks falling means that he's 40%? Lmfao. Kaido literally hasn't fought more than 3 people who can actually damage him, out of which 1 is Luffy himself, one other guy who only did one attack that actually damaged him significantly even which turned into a scar almost immediately and a third that managed to get a drop of blood out of Kaido which literally healed in seconds, lol.
Even bringing up the gauntlet is stupid as it did fuck all. Kaido is not even near to being half of his power, lol.

I guess it could happen if Oda believe Luffy having an actual pirate rival like Whitebeard for Roger would be fun. (Blackbeard is more of a nemesis than a rival, their relationship is too antagonistic).
I gave up on the idea of Luffy having a decent rival because it seemed he was the one doing all their work and getting all the glory while other supernova barely achieved anything in the new world but Kid may be the exception. Oda did say he initially planed him to become important and he's the only non-SH worst gen with COC. While COC alone won't make you top tier, the fact Oda gave it to Kid and not to Law ( who is the big fan favorite) means it is not for cheap fanservice.
