His awakening is actually perfect for him.

Law is capable of cutting through anything within his room, but the downside to it, is that it doesn't cause any damage. With awakening, he can now cut through anything, and also cause damage in the process. It's something his DF ability desperately needed.

All of the awakenings we have officially seen are all arguably 'basic.' Ultimately, it comes down to how the DF user utilizes said awakening. Creativity is a major part of how an awakening benefits a DF user, not just the AP involved.

Wait, i thinks i am become understanding Law's awakening, Law not awakened when used his powers was always the center from his attacks(Counter shock and Gamma knife) comes from him, now with his Awakened mode he transfer the center to a certain object using Kroom(in this chapter he transfer to his Swords so attacks comes from his swords like the Shock Wite who was connected in BMs Body.

So if him uses Counter Shock and Gamma Knife will come from the Sword who is the center of his powers.

I think it would be intriguing to find out if he can use Gamma Knife with Kroom instead of Anesthesia but I bet Oda deems it as too broken and he didn't use it despite bearing the chance but I imagine that might have been too energy consuming.
