Speculations Mihawk CAN'T get Killed/defeated before fighting Zoro

Hello everyone,

Lately i have seen the Shiryu killing Mihawk theory emerge again and it's not a bad theory, Shiryu needs some hype to fight Zoro and there is no better hype than to kill the WSS. The problem is that it can't happen, at least not before Mihawk fights Zoro, why ?
Because of Mihawk's own words:



"No matter how many months or years pass by, i shall stand here at the top of the world and wait for you"
That can't really happen if Shiryu kills him/defeats him.
Now, you can say that maybe Oda wants to add a twist in the story, however that might be the worst storytelling decision ever for Oda. Mihawk for Zoro isn't like Shanks to Luffy, Mihawk is like Roger to Luffy, his ultimate goal. For someone to beat Mihawk first is like saying Luffy won't be the Pirate King, it just can't happen.
I can see a world where BB and his crew kill the Red Hairs + Mihawk after the Strawhats beat them, maybe even sneak in during the last moment to take the kill but that can't happen before Luffy meets Shanks and Zoro defeats Mihawk.

Is there even some one in the verse Who capable to kill Mihawk Instead Prime Zoro?

lmfao.just Nonamed Swings mihawk more likely High-mid diff current everytop tier as every single mihawk vs thread made related to "Nonamed swing Mihawk"

I wanted the abolishment of shichibukai system to come late in story and not now honestly

I had a scenario of both Mihawk and Zoro fighting at full strength, death battle by that scenario if Mihawk stayed and worked for the government… but it didn’t!

But anyways, let’s hope it happens… and Mihawk has as much motivation to beat Zoro as Zoro does with Mihawk…

I want them to actually be so serious and go fr the kill especially Mihawk
While Zoro might at the end spare Mihawk’s life instead… but I want it deadly… so Oda should write their motivation right

Shitchibukai Abolition --> Larines attack Mihawk --> Mihawk joins under Shanks for protection --> BB attacks Shanks --> Shiryu kills Mihawk and Teach kills Shanks by underhanded methods --> Best motivation for Luffy and Zoro to beat BB and Shiryu respectively
