Are you actually daft? His normal moves won't work on Big Mom and Kaido. Gamma Knife didn't penetrate through Kaido's scales even when he used it.

His awakening literally gives him the ability to do internal damage. That doesn't make his attacks stronger, it makes it so that it bypasses durability.
