Idk but the Oden in Rogers ship talking about opening Wano borders seemed so mature and centered.

Oden demands that Orochi hand back the title of Shogun because he's merely a stand-in for Oden himself. However, Higurashi transforms into Sukiyaki and tells Oden that it's no use, the Daimyo already believe that Orochi is the shogun.

Oden finally reached the limits of his patience when, 5 years after he returned, Kaido/Orochi broke two promises to him. The first was to give him a ship, the second was to return Hyougoro. Instead, Kaido murdered his family, leading Oden to gather the Scabbards to try and take out Kaido.

Oden has a person with the Bari Bari and Mane Mane No Mi and somehow managed to jail Oden just took make the timeline work.... Hopefully this flashback is over so that the writing can feel less clunky.

Nothing wrong with writing, this make sense if you see their uses and how it bring downfall to Oden. Probably help in future for Bartolomew's and Bon Clay's future in present on their potential on what to bring when aiding Luffy.

I can't wait until the climax of the Fire Festival when we get to Kaido's flashback and see his perspective of the invasion of Wano, it's already giving me goosebumps.

I think there's going to be a lot of inverses between Oden and Kaido.

Well DF is a defensive, so of course serious strike won't break it especially we haven't seen it Awakening DF with Haki. Think of ability lvl raise for Barto XD.

damn.. Oden really was willing to give the country and not putting up a fight againts Orochi under two terms only, and those terms are only related to himself/people close to him. Eventhough people are dying and suffering everyday. That's what he should've been concerned about. At least he's consistent about one thing from the beginning : he's selfish. it was revived by Luffy he was able to use haki , while he was kicked by everyone before , if his spirit were not broken the likes of kaido's men in Udon would not be a match for him not in the slightest
