You could be right

King still hasn't got his gag moment which is a requirement for every one piece character not even Akainu was spared from that
But oda's comedy is unpredictable it definitely won't be his face nor his dinosour form imo
"..." was more than enough.

Queen is essentially just a huge punching bag, he's there to tank attacks, he's not an agile fighter
brawling wise he is decent keeping sanji on his toes to overwhelming him but not greatly.. his hybrid tentacle mode doesn't offer anything decisive.. he had to surprise sanji to even get a hold of him for the lock there isn't any technique, art, pattern, or sequence to how he moves or any character to how he fights its not a you miss i hit thing like Sanji vs Mr 2 or even sanji vs Gin.

its not too much when i say Queen even for sanji is an unorthodox combatant (in a novel way) .. and when you take the fact that he's a tank 2nd to kaido himself on Onigashima.. and his relevance with sanji's family .. it isn't surprising how his combat style isn't as emphasized as his tech and durability especially seeing how oda had sanji go through this introspection in this fight.. so its not a 1v1 where both fighters have conventional styles going at it to see who's is better and have oda dedicate a chunk of the panels seeing sanji and Queen go at it..

Queen is no a typical opponent that when defeated would highlight your strength only but also who sanji has become at the end of it.

huh man it took me a while to make this post coz i had a good clue of what i was saying until i reached the 2nd half of it

Actually people have said it... that's why it's funny.

It's called critical thinking because he needs to know what his race is in order to win the fight... hence why it says he needs to know his race in order to win not "he is struggling because he needs to figure out what his race is" or "he is struggling because..."
in other words he struggles because he doesn't know how king powers work...

The Road To Harmony
- Small detail i've noticed by reading the translation of the korean leaker which wasn't told in the summary :
* Enma reacts to the sound of shamisen that Zoro hears from somewhere by emitting heat

Interesting!!!
Will this have anything to do with the below?

Oda is doing this for a reason, this is ALL part of Zoro's storyline that is building up in Wano, and will all culminate in the end. This reveal about Enma and Oden's Will and Hyori, and Black Blade Forming, and Heat Emission, and what Zoro means to Wano, and what he is going to mean. I'm hyped.

I think Zoro is going to play a much bigger impact to Wano than even Zoro fans may be thinking.

And Oden's biggest wish besides opening up Wano, was to Kill Kaido, all I am saying.
Zoro returning Shusui to Wano was even said to be fate itself. Like Shusui knew instinctively that Zoro would return it to the place it belongs and to fulfill the wish of its late master: protecting Wano.

Queen is there to highlight sanji's strength, why do you think oda gave him a potential ice power up against a guy who controls fire and gets stronger the angrier he is?

Queen is not there to exchange blows, he's there to get his ass beaten to a pulp by sanji and be witness to our boy's character development, and it's not because queen is weak, sanji is just that strong

Zoro took some damage with imperial archer but other than that he has been handling King pretty well
He did? To me King is just throwing him away. Not actually damaging him.

I mean, what King could do near Hakai level to actually damage Zoro now...

I didn't remembered blood in that attack. You are right.

It's even more poetic if Shusui houses Ryuma's soul just like Enma houses Oden's.

That scene where Ryuma states that Shusui chooses Zoro in Thriller Bark has a completely different meaning in retrospect if Shusui contains Ryuma's soul. Ryuma himself chose Zoro to be the next wielder, to bring it to Wano and to protect the nation.
