Power Mochi and especially Zangiri Mochi should do damage. Against Tatsumaki, King was guarding himself and other than that you cannot say that Katskuri's attacks will not harm King, just because some of Zoro's cuts so far didn't come through. It should be noted that King is dodging too, even casual attacks, which means they are doing some sort of harm.

Plus, there seems to be a "secret" to harming King more effectively which is not just having higher attack power.

And where King has durability, Katakuri has excellent evasion.

But all of the admirals have been portrayed to be roughly equal power. So you think King beats Kizaru, King beats Aokiji, King beats Fujitora, and King beats Akainu.

If oda wanted King speed to look beastly, he should fight a speedster with great CoO like Sanji
Oda is gonna hype King physical strength and dura over and over with His speed just a bonus.

Is King strong? Yes but I don't see how he's different from Boundman except with long range (which he needs to launch his own head forward.

His fighting style is the easiest for Katakuri to counter : Predictable

You can be highlighted as someone strong and yet be quite fast and mobile. This chap King evaded a 360 pound, he caught RS Sanji etc.

And as we saw he can protect himself with his wings.

And Kata never fought Boundman for 11h straight.
Here King as no time limit and can last forever. Kata will tire.

And just wait for King high end attacks with flames and AOE

King hard counters his fighting style with his mysterious defense ability

How is it a hard counter when it effect just about everyone the same
Zoro having swords doesn't somehow mean durable characters are his weaknesses. Its like saying characters that are stronger than jinbe hard counter him

If anything zoro has a hard counter ability with him being able to cut fire
