Nothing is wrong from having hope in something that you do not know.
But you guys know how Toei works. There are 14 movies and several special episodes and Toei would never make a movie :
-Without the mugiwaras
-About a secondary character
-Backstory movie
You know that, so why setting yourself for disappointment? I do not get it.

@Red Admiral if movie fail bad on you. Then you can join Star Wars movie director and create Star Wars character like shanks with epic force power with your imagination and create the script for your character.

But if you hate the movie how portray shanks is. You can create your own character for Star war and insert your shanks haki force on your new character.Just change the name and you are safe. People are making the theories about shanks haki based on Star Wars force power. Shanks fans and other one piece fms call shanks the Jedi haki man literally .
that's the LAST thing I will do ... I had nothing but positivity for the movie :)

if I was the writer I would go with "how Shanks became a Yonko"
I think this is the best story they can tell ... with highest potential ... and without harming Shanks in main plot line

so Shanks Vs Mihawk or Shanks Vs Teach is really bad for a full story (as much as I LOVE to see it)
