Questions & Mysteries Is ONE saving Watchdog Man for something big?

In the manga, the only S class heroes to not take part in the battle against the Monster Association cadres are Blast, Metal Knight, and Watchdog Man. Blast could probably solo all the cadres, so it’s clear why he isn’t helping out. Metal Knight with his full arsenal is also extremely powerful and would make things to easy for the heroes. Was Watchdog Man also restricted because he’s too strong?

Watchdog Man only cares about his territory Q City. So unless something crazy goes down there, we won't be seeing him in any other action.

Yeah true. I guess shit would really have to hit the fan for him to leave his territory to fight.

My only explanation is that Watchdog can't be there without causing problems. For Watchdog to participate, it means getting taken out by Garou or creating some half assed reason for WDM to leave early.

Guessing ONE wants WDM to remain untouched for the time being which wouldn't happen if he participated in the raid.

Tbh I think that WDM probably could have beaten any monster besides Psykos/Orochi, Awakened Garou, and maybe PS, so I think he wasn’t included so that the cadres could look more impressive

In the webcomic, Metal Bat, TTM and Drive Knight didn't do a thing yet they got some panel time. WDM? Still nothing.

ONE even created a new cadre and gave buffs all around so he still could've added WDM if he wanted to.

But he didn’t because WDM is probably too strong. This man single handle defends Q City, which is the city that receives the most monster attacks, yet Q City is the safest city out there, so much so that everyone wants to live there. WDM is clearly insanely strong. I don’t see even Bang being able to defend Q City that effectively

I'm not sure how strong Watchdogman is compared to other S-Classes, but I believe ONE and Murata are saving him for a big role in a future arc.
