You returned to Wano, so if per chance you joined hands with Hyougoro...all of Wano’s Samurai & chivalrous folk would have been our enemies. So it’d have most likely been a tough battle for us that were short on man power at the time.

So much for Kaidou grew in strength over the 5 years and reached Oden's level.

Instead we learn that it had nothing to do with power levels but the support Oden was receiving from the people of Wano and his charisma. What next excuse are you going to bring up to push your narrative that Flashback Kaidou is incomparable to his current self?

25 years ago Kaidou seems ~ 20 years ago Kaidou. Looking at how it's going, 20 years ago Kaidou is probably also approximately equal to current Kaidou.
