Nah Oda is just inconsistent and doesn't draw it for everyone. Kid fights using giant scraps of metal. It just wouldn't look aesthetically pleasing if Oda shat on it with dark ink.

I think its just because OP readers have become such a powerlevel-oriented community, so that we cant be proud anymore of Sanji since Zoro has somewhat leave him by blooming CoC.

If only Oda focus more on Sanji's strategic ability enabling him to - for example - win even against Yonkous at some point by trapping, outsmarts, or deceiving them into defeat while Zoro can't outmuscle them until that point, will this community acknowledge him? Because i know i will. That is if only Oda matures enough and gain the ability to make characters win through strategy and quick on exploiting the enemy' weakness instead of pure strength battle.

I think Sanji fans would be a lot more satisfied with literally everything if they dropped Zoro comparisons.

The only reason some fans complain is because they wanted to see something akin to impact of ACoC

IMO, no.

The inconsistencies that I agree about Armament hardening are with Big Mom in Wano etc. But I just think that you can be a strong high tier (YC1 - Marco, YC2 - Smoothie, YC3 - Jack) and still not use hardening.

If they have it, it would've been shown though since it's a major boost. Not just on the legs but on the other parts as well - Doffy was using hardening on his face to block attacks. Same with Katakuri as well.
