It was just a deduction. But see the logic:

Kaido was said to be an ''apprentice'' on the Xebec ship, just as Shanks and Buggy were listed as ''apprentices'' the Roger Pirates
Being an ''apprentice'' it is impossible for him to be over 15 years old, since at 16 he is no longer an apprentice, but a veteran adult.
So I deduced that Kaido was 15 (and could be less).

If Kaido was 15 when Rocks was defeated (which was 38 years ago), then Kaido is currently 15 + 38 = 53.

Oden vs Kaido happened 20 years ago, so 53 - 20 = 33

He was between 30 and 33 years old, that's for sure.

honestly no one should take no one seriously bcs everybody be on their own damn agendas. Our opinions wont change how the story is being written, it just gives us more satisfaction from our own intrepertations of the story so we could enjoy it more

This is one of the best flashbacks in the series but Oda didnt stick the landing. This should have been more than a chapter fight and we should have gotten some emotional weight with the scabbards (though we can get that next chapter). It's a shame

You make the point. One-two more chapter of the battle would get some more emotional weight about Oden and the scabbards, it would be far better and bring out the point of the flashback. Oda killing off the most important thing of the flashback in this way, why he don´t take the time? The fandom would love to see more fight scenes, taking one more chapter wouldn´t be really bad.

This flashback has been going on for over a 100 days now. And a guaranteed 11 chapters. Oda probably wants to get back to the meat of the arc as soon as possible and that's a double edged sword

At this point can we really use this as excuse for all the fights who get offscrened by Oda?
I mean other mangaka perfectly show how to handle villians already in battles before we even see the end final battles.
Just see Black clover, Licht vs Yami,Julius and later his final battle, look Boku no hero where Shigaraki get his battle already before we see him in his final battle. Most villians already get proper fight scene without their final battle, did Oda really need everytime to save feats/ability for our one piece villians?

This time He can't escape with Kaido lol.

Why am i not surprised that in the end, even the most awaited Kaido vs Oden battle got mostly off-paneled It's basically post-skip Oda now

I bet there will be a lot of spice in the manga section arena tomorrow (if the chapter is officially released tomorrow due to the closure of traditionnal OP reading sites).
