Presumably, Oda wants to keep us in suspense on what Kaido (and other characters) can do because he'd like to show it off later in the story. I don't mind the fact these fights are off paneled. We're like, a dozen chapters away from seeing most of these guys fight anyhow.

After the last chapter where Oda himself hype up the event, I really though we would at least get 50% of Oden vs Kaido, firsttime in wano where he don´t offpanel the fight, yet I get disappointed again. Dude just skip 90% of the whole event after telling us that we shouldn´t blink our eyes even for a single moment, for what? To see that 90% of the event get skipped and we getting again only informations about the event without seeing much?

Kaido in chapter 970 was 33 years old

Roger reached the peak when he was 39
Whitebeard reached its peak when he was 41 years old.

We already knew Oden scarred Kaido
Now we learnt Kaido won via distraction.

Just 2 pages... how we gonna know which attacks damaged or bruised Oden prior his KO?
How do we scale properly?

The only info will be Oden is too lethal for kaido; Kaido can take down Oden with one clean hit (when Oden doesnt guard)

"the fight broke out in Ringo..." and he also loves to off-screen battles to give sense of time : "They've been fighting since last night!" "gyahhh"-page one screamed in his last moments knowing he's gonna be off-screened by Oda
