the only top tier battle that lasted long and ended in a serious Way Is Akainu vs Kuzan
The rest is just old pals meeting and acting mad. The end result is them smiling and no real damage.
These 10 or 3 days battles are just excuses for Oda to skip a lots of fight scenes
Even the 10 hours
If he doesnt do long battles
He makes them less than hours and show only 2 page s
At this point can we really use this as excuse for all the fights who get offscrened by Oda?
I mean other mangaka perfectly show how to handle villians already in battles before we even see the end final battles.
Just see Black clover, Licht vs Yami,Julius and later his final battle, look Boku no hero where Shigaraki get his battle already before we see him in his final battle. Most villians already get proper fight scene without their final battle, did Oda really need everytime to save feats/ability for our one piece villians?

Even roger vs WB had ceasefires lol
Luffy ate /rested during battles, dukes had rests,
I bet Kuzan and Akainu were resting and eating inbetween days.
At this rate, Oda will do anything...
