I'm 95% sure that if ZKK happens, Zoro fans are going to go on a mass trolling spree on this site and probably resurface every thread and post by people who didn't think ZKK would happen just to laugh at them.

This is something these people have done in the past and I have no reason to think they won't do it again.

Personally, I think ZKK won't happen. That Luffy has had too much build up to defeat kaido and that Zoro doing it just wouldn't make sense, especially when Oda took Zoro out of the fight so he could take on king. But at the same time, I can enjoy good zoro chapters, and I'm sure if ZKK did happen, the chapter would at the very least have pretty good art.
But its hard to enjoy these things when some people on this site feel the need to be petty, childish, assholes on all matters surrounding this character.

Overall ZKK is a thing that's been highly contested around the fandom. A lot of people think it will happen, a lot of people don't think it will happen. If you really are a zoro fan, then don't go out of your way to ruin one of zoro's best moments for the people who didn't expect it. Because the thing is, that's who Oda writes these moments for. Part of the reason Zoro gets all these badass moments is because Oda wants to go out of his way to surprise casual readers, who might not always be diehard zoro fans, with how strong zoro is.

We have to consider something: in which of Kaidou's condition does ZKK happens, if it does happen?

- if ZKK happens to a recovered Kaidou (by some mean or another, such as Kaidou recovers using Zoan ability etc, or Kaidou get a Senzu bean etc): it means Luffy's contribution is nulled/useless. If its like this, it will never happen.

- if ZKK happens to a defeated Kaidou who is confirmed to be permanently weaker: imo it may and can happen. It will mean Zoro doesnt have the ability to defeat Kaidou, but he has the ability to execute him while no other swordsmen can. I can imagine this happening, the only contradicting factor left is Zoro's Asura scene, which may meant as Zoro's only share of deed against Kaidou. "It's (your contribution) is enough, this wound will remain".

Tldr, but toxic people will stay toxic no matter what. Even with ZKK not happening, they already prepare other goalpost as the backup plan: King > Kaidou. :amazing:

Well it goes both ways.

You can also argue that the other section of the fandom would do the exact same thing if ZKK didn't happen.

It's not like Zoro fans weren't ridiculed, called cultists, retarded and delusional over a fucking theory for over 2.5 years now. Even suggesting that Zoro would help Luffy against Kaido, when all the writing and narratives pointed in that direction, was considered to be delusional behaviour not so long ago and look at what happened with Roofpiece xD. You still have dumbfucks crying that it was filler and fanservice.

You reap what you sow lol.

an overwhelming majority of the fan base believed zoro would help Luffy against Kaido once Enma was revealed
the people who supported Luffy 1v1ing kaido were always a minority.

Also this site has far more people who are pro-zoro than not

This site doesn't represent the entire fandom right? They really weren't a minority everywhere else lol. The point I'm trying to make is that the toxicity isn't just from one side, if anything you are labelling the clapback or the haha gotcha moment toxic, while ignoring everything else lol.

That funny, I saw Reddit post meme that zoro will get easily beaten by kadio and everyone thought it will happen. that is before rooftop happen.

because I don’t follow other one piece communities. I don’t really care about Reddit or twitter.

but I do know that there just aren’t many fervent asshole sanji fans or zoro haters on this site. The biggest one I can think of was that Moe guy who got banned over a year ago.

maybe a few other irrelevant users. Zoro fans are the majority here and a lot of people who are anti-zkk aren’t doing it out of zoro hatred. So I don’t see why the haha gotcha is even necessary. It’s just petty and childish.

Jo-noodle and topi really hate zoro. There lot of zoro haters in this forums.

But I don't understand why you are singling out zoro fans.

Why are you aren't talking about other fanbase not coming back at zoro fans if ZKK doesn't happen?

I mean if ZKK doesn't happen then what you said would happen but at that time Zoro fans would be on receiving end.

I didn't see you bringing this up.
