Nope, his flames were only down when he used his Hybrid Form. They were still up in his Zoan form.

He can exchange speed for durability. Why would he do that against Katakuri, especially when he has long range attacks? He can eventually wear down Katakuri's future sight.

Queen vs Sanji main thing wasnt the action but more the german subplot which to me ruined the fight.
If you like QVS fine, but Oda especially for a chapter like warrior of science in which we had basically 1 panel of fighting and the rest other subplot that lead to nothing was meh.
ZorovsKing even if Oda explored the blade lore, Oda was mixing the action with the backflash very well. So we didnt miss the fight because Zoro was fighting when thinking about the blades. Just perfect.
SvQ is very messy

Oda Made Queen into another Pica. He didn't know how to Make Sanji tank Lasers so Sanji just dodged them for several chapters which made for a boring fight

I don't see how Zoro defeating King this chapter would make Yamato's case. Zoro has the means to force King's fire to disperse, and has showcased better AP feats on the roof in comparison to her.

Tbh Yamato hasn't impressed me in her clash eith Kaido.

Yeah comparing the ice guard with King's fire guard doesn't work. We literally saw him shrug off shit that made Kaido bleed, while the thunder bagua that broke through her guard didn't knock out a half dead Zoro.

King is quite a bit stronger but maybe Yamato is still stronger than Queen

Well his flames are take out when his move or attack with Speed, is simple as that as already Said, FS users and Speedster are his nightmares, thats why he was getting beat up by Marco.

King is a YC1 with a special ability called Flames who can trasnfer defense to speed or Speed to defense.
