It wasn't base Katakuri either. He used awakening to propel himself towards Luffy with Zangiri Mochi. He didn't use power mochi because it wasn't as effective as going into close quarter combat. Katakuri wasn't holding back.

Propelling himself doesnt mean the attack was awakened . He used his own arm : Diced mochi
It is not an awakend attack like power mochi.

It doesbr matter if he didnt hold back or not:
Base katakuri fought FS g4 snakeman. No single attack was awakening attack.
Awakened kata fought g4 boundman.

King will be beaten by Emma zoro who doesn't have any top tier haki or isnt even above WCI G4 luffy (pre FS)

Isn't Ryou just what the people of Wano call Haki?

Because it's usage is more than what basic armament does..

Basic armament - can hit Logia and coat body parts or object

Ryuo - flowering Sakura... Flowing haki outside. That's what Luffy learnt. And that's what Zoro has.

This is what allowed Admirals to create shock barrier in MF.

The term is equated to haki just like all types of haki - coo, CoA and CoC are generally referred as haki

Imo they’re both equal. Enma gives Zoro a huge boost in attack power and dc, while the RS gives Sanji a huge boost in mobility and defense plus invisibility. They both have different strengths and weaknesses that suit Zoro and Sanji extremely well
