Yeah ironically, under different circusmtances, they might be able to resonate with and thus understand each other, having some actual empathy to each other. Both of them are associated with the WG too. This is probably why Oda made Sanji clash with King before too. It really is ironic how similar they are yet also contrast each other.
Also speaking of Sanji, I do wonder if these leaks still hold up? If there's still potential for them?:

-There will be a great event (supremacy)will happen to Sanji even Zoro’s fans will be Sanji’s fans after that event
-Sanji will maintain the balance of the world
-Sanji will fusion with a mythical fiery bird not obeying orders
-by obtaining new fruit / new suit depends on the translation
We also don't know why King's clan were wiped out and how. Probably "too dangerous", they refused to kneel/surrender and or the Celestial Dragons saw them as a threat and were jealous of them, especially as Celestials see themselves as gods amongst mortals/men/peasants too. Maybe a previous "Great Cleansing" and maybe Void Century related too potentially?

Fuji’s defense and intelligence make him a terrible matchup for King.
You should put him up against Aokiji. Maybe that’s a mid diff instead of a low diff idk
King once he explodes in front of Fuji, Fuji explodes too
