Look if you dont wanna understand it, it fine. You dont need to be an Elon Musk to understand that Oda even if he dedicate much time love luffy he though that initially Zoro&Shanks would be more popular because of their specific trait. Anyway I dont see the point to discuss further with you, Luffy is the MVP and the popularity come because he has double or tipple so much screen time than the second most popular character in One Piece. Dressrosa would make Law more popular than Luffy if he would have taken Doffy at the end.

The problem with you is that you think other side characters are as important as the mc and should have the same amount of panel time as him. It is a simple cycle.
Luffy is an mc -> he gets more panel time -> he gets loved by the fanbase -> Oda continues to give him more panel time.
Also do you know there are other series too where the MC is not as popular as despite having more panel time than other characters. So obviously Oda is doing something right.

As far as Doffy is concerned, Law already said that he just wanted to destroy the smile factory so that Kaido can deal with him. Taking revenge on Doffy was a mere chance. Law also helped Luffy and fought an admiral, he did enough for someone who is not even a straw hat . Oda gave him sufficient panel time. No other mangaka fleshes out his side characters more than Oda.

Sub fights like Raizo vs Fuku and the plot around Orochi should end soon, seems like Oda planning something for Usopp?
Why they still had Sanji vs Queen, the fight was over or not? I think Apoo and co losing to the CP0 but that happen probably at the end of the arc, for now they need to stall them. Yamato and Momo plot should get their moment soon too.

So what? Queen proved to be enough of a distraction that King was able to land hits upon Marco.

Marco also cheap shotted them when he grabbed them by neck.
And then when Marco landed hit on Queen King made his ass bleed casually without his high speed form.
Then King and Marco have a solo battle and Queen is busy with Chopper. By the time battle ends Marco is a bloody mess and King didn't even go all out.
