I would argue that if King was shook, his face would look like the way it was when seeing the final attack Zoro used on him, in the last page of the chapter.

This definitely wasn't King looking shocked imo.

True it could be that as well. But if it was King using CoC, it'd be stupid if Oda just to show it off 2 pages before he (most likely) gets defeated. The lines are more defined with Luffy, Katakuri and Zoro compared to King imo

Kaido hasn't been fighting Yonko level threats until Luffy learning adv CoC.

Luffy has been knocked out twice by Kaido, if you are trying to say Kaido has taken enough damage to knock himself out twice then you are wrong, because he hasn't been knocked out. Notably Luffy took these knockouts before reaching the level of strength he currently has, while Kaido has not grown in battle potential.

Kaido is proficient with adv CoC-> less STAMINA drain than Luffy who was using is "sloppily" in his first 1v1 30 minute fight.

Kaido has fruit STAMINA advantage, unless you think the gomu gomu can match the most durable+second most regenerating zoan in a battle of STAMINA.

In a competition of fresh Luffy vs fresh Kaido, fresh Luffy gains a lot more from his current position than Kaido does.

And no Yamato emphasised that Luffy was the one struggling most from stamina, the discussion around Kaido was just to show that all of this has STARTED to effect his passive abilities and he is not an invincible monster.

Zoro created an entirely new sword style by combining a fully mastered Enma with Haoshoku: "En Ou Santoryuu".

"King of Hell: Three Sword Style".

It bears the name of Enma, but is written with the "King" from Haoshoku.


Oden's ultimate attack was Togen Totsuka. This is En Ou Santoryuu Zoro's ultimate attack:

It has the longest Haoshoku trail we've seen ever.



I place Yamato above because of the portrayal of Haoshoku coating, but King would definitely push her to her limits.

If there is anyone on Wano without Haoshoku coating that might beat Yamato it's King.

What has he achieved yet? No one in Wano is thinking at *King* as the source of their problems, and no one in Wano has even seen Zoro defeating King. Enma isn't black. For the average Wano citizen right now Zoro is just a random alliance member. From an inverse perspective the payoff hasn't been achieved yet. He's gonna take a nap now, time to wrap up Meme and Kaido, and then it's showtime.

There is a distinct spot in the middle and there are haki streaks jettisoning off of the blades. Both aren't there in that panel.

Kaido literally names the poor guy ''call yourself King'', how pathetic is that? No wonder King is the weakest YC1 alongside with Katakuri. Marco would easily kill this guy if not for tag teaming him with Queen in 2 v 1.
