Chapter proved that king need a time skip or some training session for him to get to the level of katakuri

if this is zoro's last fight he need another arc to surpass WCI luffy

Because in the leak thread people shat their pants since the leaker said Zoro cutting King is his Ryuma moment when it isnt.

The scans made the chapter solid, but i still feel Sanji and Zolo's fights were rushed and and we know so little about King and Queen motivation...
King is just a cheap version of Katakuri with Cracker's gimmick and marco's fire...Oda trying so hard to make him relevant and interesting by spamming that launarian lore in our faces.. The worst 1st commander on screen so far.. No CoO, no high level CoA, no CoC, no DF awak... I blame Oda for that.
Hoping for more King and queen in Kaido's flashback. They sucked as commanders, giving'em some depth might help..

Young Ben had an amazing design

yeah those are the kind of designs i prefer, though at the first glance they might seem far easier to reproduce, but it´s way harder to make a laidback look unique to the character. Some sandals, pants and shirt.

Meanwhile Kat looked like the rocker in village people, Shiryuu is straight nazi, and King the main performer in a SM club.

Difference in taste i guess.

Btw, i liked the fight choreography in this chapter, but not even remotely best Zoro fight, let alone best OP fight.

Not to be a hater, but the worst part of this chapter is Sanji. I'd rather have those two pages added to the fight. And it makes the last chapter a little less satisfying with the conclusion cut off. I guess it's to keep the audience guessing but it was mostly 70/30 on Queen being defeated last chapter.

I agree….this shouldve been its own page and have more detail added to it.

Why are is everyone saying this?
King showed Ryuo multiple times in this fight,blade hardening.
Awakening maybe Oda doesn't plan to give zoans awakening this arc as we already had a chapter named awakening in this raid.

When did King Show Ryo ?
I don’t think king even showed Haki at all.
It’s amazing that he’s this strong without Haki no awakening no CoC but let’s be honest each and everyone of us expected a lot more from King.

Luffy vs Katakuri really set the bar so high for these commander fights but instead all we got was warmup fights for both Zoro Sanji.
These commander fights were like the warmup luffy had with cracker. All Zoro did was release his haki to defeat this bum King.

Sanji post awakening Ifrit Jambe attacks were enough to send Queen flying.
