An MCU film? Engaging? Well written? I've seen people say it's fun (it is) and something similar, but never that it's well written or engaging. That's new.

The reason the mcu is so successful is because of the writing, the stories are not complex, but that doesn't mean they have bad writing.
I've seen profesional writers admit that the writing of the mcu is very good, and these are people who have written some of my favorite books so I trust their judgement.
From knowing how to write likeable characters to how to do set up and pay off Marvel knows how to write good stories.
