So some people have been using King's lack of Ryou to downplay him, not even sure why considering the **** doesn't even need it. He's got fire abilities that can create magma and instantly heal his wounds but anyways, he's got crazy good armament Haki anyways.
First of all King showed Barrier Haki when Scabbards attacked Kaido with their "Sunnach" charge.
Unless ya'll wanna argue King is casually far superior than Kaido physically he created a barrier here. King doesn't have his swords with him and we see impact of the attack on King and Izo shooting bullets on him too yet bullets don't reach King and King ins't moved an inch. On top of that there is a shockwave coming from King, looking like a barrier preventing King from taking any damage.
It it isn't barrier Haki then what is it?
Then comes swordsmen's Ryou which should be blatantly obvious since Ryou is literally the swordsman hardening their sword essentially flowing their Haki into the sword to gain ability to cut what ever they please to cut and nothing they don't please to cut.
We have direct quote from Hyogoro which I am posting here. I forgot what chapter it is but I am sure someone can find the panel
And King hardens his blade to fight with Ryou master Zoro who was able to use his Haki to cut Kaido multiple times and he even overpowers his stance
Here we can see King's blade hardened clashing with Zoro's hardened blades
And now lets talk about Internal destruction. King was able to cut half of Marco's full phoenix torso strong enough to withstand force of Akainu's magma punch clean in half.
Marco's pheonix body is EXTREMELY durable
Was able to withstand Kizaru's signature attack with just a few holes
Was able to withstand Big Mom's attack that caused a massive shockwave
Was able to withstand Akainu's angry magma punch with virtually zero damage
Was able to withstand Garp's punch that can bust a mountain and Chinjao's continental drill
Yet King casually just cuts that shit clean in half with a nameless sword attack
On top of that King was able to give Marco a lasting bruise with the same slash
And it took again Garp's fist of love to give Marco a lasting bruise and Garp is one of the best armament Haki users in the world. But still bruise Garp gave was noticeably smaller than the one that King gave
So basically King accomplished more than Garp+Akainu+Kizaru+Big Mom in a single nameless sword strike.
I think this is because King is infusing internal destruction Ryou with his sword to accomplish such attack but if not then King's raw Ryou level is absolutely monstrous.
Though I am not sure on internal destruction
King is a skilled ass fighter, he can kick as good as Sanji, use sword as good as Zoro, can use devil fruit as good as anybody. This **** doesn't need any of it, his fire ability is overpowered and shit, he can blow himself up create magma, regenerate etc but he still knows all he knows because he's that damn good at fighting.
