The fact that already 2years ago almost 3, Shimizu knew how the end of Wano will be surprising.
The fact that Oda in an interview 3 years ago said that he didnt want to finish Kaido just with pouching (which is Luffy way of fighting) tell me that there is someone or something that will end this fight that aint Luffy.
A suprising ending doesnt include the classical Luffy super pounch move and everyone is safe, nah that the standard way to close an arc. So to the one that are pushing ZKK, this could be the surprise that Oda want to drive to close this arc.

Luffy is not beating a Yonko in a 1v1 from the very beginning. A lot of people byave helped. Even then it may not be enough. ZKK is still alive.

Not all YC1/YCRM are on the same level. King would have beat rooftop Luffy.

Luffy is more fatigued than Kaido according to the JP raw and common sense. That help is from non adv CoC users doing barely any damage or the one attack Zoro did that didn't even knock Kaido down temporarily, much to Zoro's disappointment, and Yamato who did less to Kaido than Luffy's first and second rounds. Luffy took damage and fatigue to the point that he is "barely standing" entering this 1vs1, he took that damage before reaching the level of proficiency he currently has.

Red roc made Kaido squirm and hallucinate Rocks.
Pre-ryuo Luffy beats King, let alone internal destruction master Luffy.
Luffy's base physicals are equal to HYBRID KAIDO.

ZKK was never alive, Zoro couldn't even kill his own enemy.

All of which had a lot going on......probably why Sanjis fight felt a little too quick in the manga.

I actually feel bad for Kaido once Luffy goes into Boundman. It's going to be a bloodbath. Him being a Zooan he doesn't even have some DF barrier to throw between his body and Luffy like Cracker, Doffy, Katakuri.

Can't wait to see his awakening, because without it this fight is as good as over.

Honestly, Luffy could definitely contend with King just by having Ryuo alone. Zoro’s whole issue was not being able to penetrate King’s skin. Luffy bypasses outward durability lol.

Wrong.

Zoro cut King open and King blow himself up and was fine. Remember, Zoro stated he cut/slash King and he didn't bleed. He didn't say his attacks couldn't cut or penetrate King's body. All of that tells us it's not a increase durability defense. It's beyond that.

Luffy could beat any Commander post-WCI. That's being 5th Emperor means and it's why Oda made his bounty higher than Marco/King.

He doesn't need Ryou, because his physical strength is Tiers above Zoro. Zoro is just more lethal.
