it'd be so humiliating if the guy that had the Magu Magu for decade and mastered them to the point of permanently changing the climate of half an island get overpowered by the fire power of someone that ate a fruit a few weeks ago in-universe despite a huge elemental advantage. Also I don't think Ace fans would like that either.

The thing is that Sabo only had his DF very recently, even Luffy the MC that had his DF for over a decade didn't awaken his abilities. Everything is possible, but writing wise it would be quite weak

revolutionary force is not fighting marines or pirates but they are focusing on cp0, world government force rather than marine or pirates.

The problem isn't that luffy won't fight akainu but then it won't be an extreme diff fight as luffy had to have energy to have a fight against imu and oda won't even spend that much time for their fight too

Possible and its not like akainu won't get hyped if he fights sabo ; if anything akainu may get nerfed if he fights against luffy where as he can flex his abilites against sabo/dragon more

You forget there are medical that heal wound at 100 % like senuz beans style in one piece world.
Luffy can have extreme difficulty with Akainu, after that it, then use any medicine to heal himself at 100 % like, Marco, magic meat , and Mansherry. Literal no draw back for this. Chopper should invent new healing medicine to heal wound at instant.
Then he can fight IM guy.

Rememeber zoro got injured by Karoo and big mom and he got bandages tied up and sanji I have carried him around it. Then we see mink medicine on zoro. Boom zoro is back on action to fight king and defeat him.

I mean luffy recover his stamina or health by eating meat like video game character after he is defeated by hybrid kaido . Boom , luffy is back in action for rematch against kadio.

in future, luffy may have healing items to face future enemies like video game character.
I believe Monkey D dragon and his revolutionary people fight IM or gorseI first.
Luffy is not first fighter to face Enel, doflaimgo, wano kaido third act (he face 9 samurai).
