General & Others Why do Admiral fans act like Sabo vs Akainu doesn’t make sense?

Luffy neither. He blames no one and doesn't even tie Akainu in particular to his loss but to the fact of him having been too weak for the world to see.
Given Sabo inherited Ace' power and will, blaming himself for not being present in Marineford to help, from a pure story perspective it's not illogical for Sabo to step in, especially since Luffy's main power consists of surrounding himself with strong people who are willing to fight for his case.
We already had an absolute Justice bullshit fight in Luffy vs. Lucci. The only way I see Akainu being EOS villain, is if he goes against the Tenryuubito, kills some Gorosei and will solely do his own agenda. But a lapdog of the WG cannot be the EOS villain.

Luffy's main power in the story is to take the burden of others to accomplish what they cannot. Hence why he beats Arlong for Nami, Crocodile for Vivi, Enel for Wiper and the shandians, Lucci for Pauly and Galley La, Moriah for Brook, Doflamingo for Law and will beat Kaido for the scabbards/Momo.
From a pure story perspective Sabo has no business beating Akainu over Luffy. He can fight him and get negged so that Luffy succeed at saving his brother this time around though.

Oda didn't go his way out to create a specific justice for Lucci (dark justice) so that it equals Akainu's absolute justice which Luffy will have to deal with eventually because it is a clear obstacle to his definition of being pirateking : the person with the most freedom out there.

That was before Jinbe beat sense into him, he realized he has his friends and needs to get stronger. Sabo after regaining his memories, also fell into despair.
That would only make sense if Luffy wants to take the burden of beating Akainu for someone else. But ain't nobody got beef with Akainu in particular. But I see where you are coming from, it is a legit standpoint.
