Can someone explain to me why Hakai couldn't break any of Zoro's swords, not even sandai when Zoro alone cut through King's whole attack, meito sword coated with adCoA, chest and wing in one go? :zorothink: hardened weapons should be virtually unbreakable and yet...

My guesses would be they're considered different kinds of attacks or the controversial ''got teleported during it and the complete attack would've been even more damaging'' take, in the first case the attack might be mostly force/impact based like a King's Punch or Big Mom's Ikoku x2 and they're not haki (or as much) focused like Zoro's finisher and in those cases a coated weapon can take it.

Zoro stopped hakai, the whole thing literally stopped in front of him for a moment, Zoro's attack was a blitz, hakai was not, so 1 second of hakai is weaker than a faster than you can perceive attack by Zoro?
Heck if I know, I think Zoro breaking King's sword was about showing how his new coating surpassed King's coated sword while Zoro tanking hakai was more about Zoro resisting a powerful force.
