Way less actually. The thread started middle Onigashima fight right. After that we had 1 week post battle. Then few days (?) To Egghead and another day since the incident began. Less than a week for sure. But that makes no fucking difference. 2 years since it was "teased" Sanji CoC but until now nothing confirmed and we had many chapters for that.

Zoro fans got CoC without ever wanted while Sanji fans will not get CoC despite always wanting.

There’s no reason why Sanji can’t have some form of CoC. The ability itself will no longer be special.
