Derrick Rose out for 8 weeks @Noyman @Haoku @Arondight

Kembas look good the last two games though, at least on offense. You guys think Thibs going to keep going with him or give IQ a chance at starting while Rose is out

What's happening with Randle? Seems like he's the biggest reason why y'all are regressing this year looking at his stats and seeing him a bit in games.

A little sidenote: CLE is reminding me of NYK last year being 4th right now. Didn't think they had the perfect roster but they're making it work with all their bigs. Evan Mobley looks to be for real (like KG-lite) and a unanimous ROTY right now if he doesn't get injury or COVID in the future.
Mobleys an absolute stud, seriously looks like the second coming of KG, maybe with a 3 point shot too. Hes in covid protocols right now though. Garland and Allen is also playing real good, they got a well rounded roster. Just missing like a real SF right now actually. Maybe Bron should think about going back to Cleveland again instead of this Lakers shitshow :gokulaugh:

midrange jumpers are not falling this year but he continues to insist on taking it and it slows the offense down significantly. When we have Obi, IQ and D Rose on the floor there's a ton more ball movement but as soon as Thibs checks in the rest of the possession is giving it to Randle and he draws out the shot clock before taking a heavily contested fadeaway or giving it to shooters with less than a sec to get a shot off

Kemba scored 44 points 9 rebounds 8 assists 0 turnovers and we still lose thanks to shitty nights by Randle and Fournier @Noyman @Arondight @Haoku

LOL. That wouldn't be too bad if he had a third coming. They need wing players badly but when they play Allen/Markkanen/Mobley together they are agile enough to rotate and dominate when they're all inside the paint defensively. Bballbreakdown had a good video about them not too long ago. Basically, the future is having a smallball lineup full of forwards and a center but CLE are far away from that lol.

So basically he turned back to the Randle that was probably your most hated player just 2 seasons ago. Tbf, I noticed that as well him being slow last year but most of the time it was fine. Last year was probably your best ceiling with Randle as your best player so you gotta find a player that's better than him now to take that next step.

What? That's awesome lol (for Kemba not for y'all :tchpepe: ). Celtics guards redeeming themselves recently with IT & Iso Joe. :feelsokeman:

If we miss the playoffs or the play-in no way in hell he can stay on the team heading into next season

Funny thing is that heading into 2020-21 most Knicks fans wanted him gone before he went on his MIP campaign and now after getting the bag (4 yr/117M), he stopped giving a shit and is back to his old ways. Some crazy 4D Chess by Randle the last 2 yrs to completely hoodwink Leon Rose and the entire Knicks fanbase that he'd be the face of the franchise for years to come 😫

Kemba can stay though. Knicks fans still loved him even during his DNPs and all our young guys (D Rose and Taj Gibson too) love having him around

we only won this game thanks to the bench of IQ/McBride/Burks/Obi/Taj

the starting 5 should be sent to Siberia

and Randle needs to start packing his fucking bags IMMEDIATELY, this fuckbag needs to be sent off this damn team
What you think Knicks can get for Randle? Increasingly look like last year was a fluke season, not sure if rest of the league has caught on yet.

Kemba looking like hes gonna get DNPs again soon

Kemba nor anyone else on the team (yes even Fournier) is the true problem on this team, it's been by and far Randle after 35+ games of watching this season where we weren't able to fully point the finger at someone and hopefully moving forward we know who the target is; his body language is piss poor and whenever he shoots poorly it affects everyone else on the floor since he keeps insisting on trying to get himself out of a slump by jacking up long 2s instead of moving the ball, and lets not get started on the defensive end . if Leon Rose wants this team to win (not now) or at least compete for many years to come, Obi should be our long term PF over Randle and he should let our young guys lead the way, regardless of whether we can make the playoffs or not with that young core

as for Randle, I do think several contenders or playoff bound teams (76ers, Jazz, Clippers, Celtics, heck even the Lakers) would love to have him as the 3rd option as long as they're confident they have a superstar on the team that can keep Randle in check and prevent his hissy-fit demeanor to kill the chemistry of the team. It's just not going to work in New York and the sooner we move on from him, the better we'll be for the next decade of basketball

and you know what pisses me off even more? I bought his jersey right before the playoffs started and he hasn't played well from that time to now, and now I just look like a fucking idiot for even ordering his jersey (I do plan on ordering an Obi jersey soon though)

:leohah: My face when I saw the news. Knowing Thibs, hes probably gonna start Taj but either way more minutes for Obi.

Who knows, maybe Randle will get his head on straight after a break.

on the potential trade front, I think most smart playoff/championship contending team (i.e., not the Lakers) probably doesn’t value Randle highly. Hes a ball-dominant 4 thats average at best on defense and doesn’t really provide much off-ball spacing. Most playoff-bound/contending teams already have a ball-dominant star or two that Randle’s type of player is not going mix well with. Also most teams of that caliber probably have weak draft capital.

I think the ideal trade partner is a team thats desperate to make the playoffs and have picks. Maybe something like Sacremento? They probably should trade one of their guards. The issue is I can’t really think of a team off the top of my head that is desperate for a pf. Maybe Portland?

How did they loss to Okc :crazwhat:

I know Thibs likes to have IQ as the 6th man but theres basically no pg at this point with Rose and Kemba our, gotta give him a chance as the starting pg i feel like. The offense was literally all just RJ
Each guy on the Knicks (minus Obi who unfortunately got only 4 shot sttempts despite playing starter minutes) shot 1/7 from 3 more or less which screwed us over from the start

DeRozan is ridiculous. B2B buzzer-beater games. Don't tell me he's gonna pull a Kobe from 12 years ago (Fuck, that's a long time ago now)

Also, Bulls are awesome right now.

Bulls kinda lowkey stacked this year. Just missing interior defense imo to be a real contender. Their perimeter defense with Lonzo/Caruso is really nice and they obviously got mad scoring power

Not sure what to say other than that's what happens when the team sucks and KPJ lashing out again like in CLE. Pulled an AB before AB.

Yeah. I'd like to see them get better wing players. Jerami Grant would be a good fit for them at PF if they can get him. Would definitely not trade Patrick Williams over him if that was the choice though.

Lakers were lucky to beat the Timberwolves without D'Lo & KAT.

getting killed by FVV right now but at the very least Obi should get a career high this game
Raptors record feels like its a lot worse than it should be? They got some good players and good coach.

Theres some rumors that Lakers may be able to get Jerami Grant. IDK how they have no actual tradeable assets.

It’s a shame because Lebron still playing like a top 5 player and it looks like its gonna be wasted.
