Tbf Zoro not seeing Kaido was believable just judging by Oda's historical arcs of Luffy facing the main villain and Zoro facing the subordinate
It's one of the first arcs where Oda really went all out with Zoro by having him fight the main villain alongside his captain before ultimately going through the same routine of Luffy eventually following through and Zoro fighting his strongest subordinate
With that said, the hints were there that Zoro could fight Kaido with the mythical dragon theories, his link to Wano, him getting Oden's enma(which could scar Kaido) and so on, which is why i think both sides of the coins had believable reasons
Them fighting the commanders was always guaranteed tho

You dont know that… Remember Zoro vs King and sanji vs Queen… They were back to back… One chapter of Zoro followed by one chapter on Sanji then back to Zoro until it ended

This chapter being named after Kaido’s STRONGEST ATTACK makes sense… Maybe Kaido will use it again in another chapter but it will remain his STRONGEST ATTACK… Oda can put Kid and law anywhere in between as he pleases but this fight is ending… Very soon

We don't know for sure though, but I'd like to give Jack the benefit of the doubt. He's survived the two Dukes, who are also physically strong and use ACoA on their swords, trying to put him down for 5 days tbh. But then again, Jinbe's offense entirely is aimed at bypassing durability and internal damage as well.
It'd be a good matchup to debate honestly. What's guaranteed though, is that Jinbe's a good deal above the veterans/F6 - with or without a water supply.

* Kaido laughed and said that he had finally found someone who could fight anything.
* Kaido attacks with "Shuronhakke" and Luffy and is expelled from Onigashima.
* * Cut the scene where Big Mom kicks Kid out with the King's Big Punch. The law uses his awakening again.
* At the end, Rob Lucci talks to Sakazuki and the Admiral of the Fleet says, Borsalino should have been sent to solve this situation.
