I thought it was alive too and I'm hoping it comes to life somehow but I think it's just Onigashima being lifted by Kaido. They may be showing it "taking off like a plane" and thus Toei will stretch out Onigashima going airborne.

Also Zunishas return confirmed finally! Kinda makes sense that the Gorosei were referring to it but there seems to be some issues with that too imo.

Not gonna lie, I'm not against it being alive, though. Imagine if it happens with something like Linlin taking a portion of Kaido's soul, imbue it to Onigashima and essentially making it a demon homie.
