re 2) i'm not saying shanks and kaido didn't meet/fight before marineford. i'm saying that we cannot be sure shanks stopped kaido from antagonizing WB. we don't really know why kaido wanted to go to marineford - kaido himself hasn't told us yet. and other people - i don't really trust them.
the underlined italics part: yes, i agree that WB is very different from linlin and kaido. so i actually wonder why he joined rocks and if rocks was as bad as garp says. i don't trust ANY marine when it comes to revisionist history and labeling some people bad etc.
and i don't think kaido cared about ace. but when ace was about to be executed, he wasn't just ace, in my opinion - he represented all the Ds and what lies ahead of them, should they dare to defy the WG. there's a reason why his execution was made into such a public spectacle by the WG... now kaido, reportedly, owes big mom. what it is that she did for him we don't know but there is something there. however, you will notice that it's something kaido himself never brought up and when big mom did, he tried to downplay it. so, if big mom wasn't so talkative, we wouldn't even know kaido is indebted to her. just like kaido and linlin, kaido and WB were crewmates at some point so i'm thinking that perhaps, seeing as kaido is known to have been defeated many times and captured even more, he owed WB as well. or maybe he just wanted to stick it to the WG but, since kaido is not a D, he was too cowardly to do so alone and thought that well, with WB, it would be sort of... doable. i'll concede it's just pure speculation at this point, though.
4) underlined bold - it's not a bad point at all. i said the admirals only bow to one master: the celestial dragons (as a collective entity, or a caste). you're saying sengoku respects shanks. well, yes, he does - i'm saying he respects shanks because shanks is a celestial dragon. my point is that no pirate spawn would be respected the way shanks is respected by the WG lap dogs (sengoku is one, after all).
